Board Chair

Bola Fatai is a seasoned compliance and risk management professional with over a decade of experience in the financial services industry, spanning Fintech, Microfinance Banking (MFB), International Money Transfer Services, and Switching & Processing Companies.

Bola has held key roles in reputable organizations, including Stanbic IBTC Bank and eTranzact International PLC, where she played critical roles in strengthening regulatory compliance and operational risk frameworks. She currently serves as the Head of Compliance at Katsu Network Limited, where she leads the company’s regulatory strategy, compliance governance, and engagement with regulators.

Throughout her career, Bola has demonstrated excellence in designing and implementing risk-based compliance programs, supporting innovation while ensuring regulatory alignment across traditional banking and fintech environments.

She holds several professional certifications, including the Master of Compliance Program in Countering Proliferation Financing (CPF) in Kigali, Rwanda; Cybersecurity Compliance Framework & System Administration; and GDPR Officer Skills from the University of Derby, UK. She is also currently pursuing a master’s degree in research and public policy at the University of Lagos, expanding her expertise in policy development and regulatory systems.
